FIT Japanese Student Alumni Association (FIT JSAA) Open Calls Designer Products for JAPAN BLOCK FAIR
April 25, 2011 New York, NY – FIT Japanese Student Alumni Association (FIT JSAA) invites talented designers to the unique charitable opportunity at FIT JSAA booth in JAPAN BLOCK FAIR (JBF). JBF is the cultural street fair that offers Japanese crafts & artworks, foods, performances and more. FIT JSAA showcases and sells designers’ craftworks, and all the proceeds will be donated to Japan Earthquake Relief Fund of Japan Society, which will aid victims of the Tohoku-Pacific Ocean earthquake in Japan.

May 22, 2011, Sunday 11am-6pm Park Avenue between 39th and 40th Streets Fashion accessories such as bags, scarves, jewelry, apparel products of no need of fitting such as t-shirts, and home accessories such as linens, table tops and home décor. Retail prices up to $100. Over-weighted, over-sized and fragile items may not be accepted. All of the proceeds to be donated to Japan Society/Japan Earthquake Relief Fund. FIT JSAA is the association of Japanese students and alumni of Fashion Institute of Technology based on New York and Tokyo, Japan. Right after the earthquake on March 11, FIT JSAA has been actively committed to fundraising for Japan. This time, FIT JSAA wants to utilize the power of fashion and design and to support Japan’s recovery from disaster.

5.22 JAPAN BLOCK FAIR:FIT JSAA ブースへの出品のお願い
このたび、5 月 22 日(日)にミッドタウンで開催されます「ジャパン・ブロック・フェ ア」(www.japanblockfair.com)に、日本 FIT 会NY支部(FIT Japanese Student and Alumni Association 以下 FIT JSAA)として出展し、収益の 100%をジャパンソサエティ ーに寄付することに致しました。当日は宮城、岩手、福島の県人会に加え、さまざまな 県の県人会、うみのいえや博多トントンなどのレストラン、Kiteya などのお店、スズキ ファーム、キタノホテルなどが出展し、皆で東日本を盛り上げようという催しになりま す。FIT JSAA としましても、大変微力ではありますが、今回このフェアにブースを構 え、ファッション関連の物販を通じて少しでも東日本の被災地の皆様に貢献させていた だきたいと考えております。
つきましては、FIT JSAA のブースで販売させていただけるものを募集しております。 単価 100 ドルくらいまでのファッション関連商品(試着しないですむもの)及び雑貨が 望ましいです。(食品は除外いたします)自分のつくったものを是非義援金集めに役立 ててほしいと思われる方は、早急に FIT JSAA(fjsaany@gmail.com)までご連絡くださ い。皆様のご協力をどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
